It's been a big year at signageOS. We've undergone some extraordinary growth over the past 12 months and we couldn't be happier about where we're headed.
Opening
We entered 2021 with a goal to return to our stride and overcome the turbulence of 2020. We believe that we have not only succeeded in this goal, but exceeded it.
2021 was a big year at signageOS. We’ve gone through a number of changes as a company which have been highlighted with successes. If there’s been an underlying theme for this year for us, it has been our maturation from a humble startup to an established enterprise and we couldn't be more excited.
Here are our top achievements for 2021:
300% Growth in New Devices
30,000+ new devices since the beginning of last year and our trajectory is going nowhere but up!
This has been an incredible year for growth here at signageOS. Our device network gained 30,000+ new devices this year, signifying a tripling in size. This has been a huge expansion of our network and we couldn't be more pleased. We expect this number to continue to grow exponentially next year, just as it has since we began 4 years ago.
Growing Team
We're building up a world-class team to continue our growth into the future.
Our team size achieved a 39% growth in 2021.
To account for our growing business, we’re growing our team as well, expanding our global presence and diversity. We built our current business teams (sales and marketing) from scratch this year which was a huge accomplishment. Beyond that, the teams with the highest growth this year are our support, operations, and of course, our development team.
Two extremely notable new team members who we gained in 2021 are: Mirek Kren, our Chief Revenue Officer, and Michael Arnett, our Vice President of Sales, Americas. You can read their initial interviews on our blog.
We also regularly introduce our team members with our new interview series hosted on LinkedIn, Meet the Team Tuesdays. We expect this growth to continue well into the future and we're excited to continue to grow together!
New Look
New website, new logo, constantly upgrading - just like our tech.
We have a new logo! The old logo served us well, but we've decided to retire it. It represented signageOS’s ability for unifications however with the growth of our product we have also outgrown it. Our new logo is cleaner and more modern and we believe it represents us better within the digital signage industry.
We are also very proud of the launch of our new website. In addition to the modernized style, we believe that our revamped website better explains our services, has clearer language, and is more informative overall. We will continue to expand the functionality and effectiveness of our website for years to come.
New Offices
Moving on up in the world.
We’ve grown a lot over the last few years. It's been a long time coming, but we’ve finally gotten not just one, but two new offices: one in Prague, and another in San Francisco!
While we were sad to say goodbye to our old offices, these new and greatly improved workspaces mark the beginning of a new chapter of growth for signageOS. "We've created an innovative space for ourselves where we can develop new products and services that will help shape the future of the industry", Stan Richter, CEO.
We’d like to thank you all for making this possible. We couldn't have done it without you and we're extremely appreciative of your support.
7/11 CRI Rollout
We facilitated a nationwide rollout with Creative Realities.
Network service provider ATT appointed Creative Realities (CRI) as the digital signage solution provider to its client 7-Eleven - to evaluate, design, and replace its existing content management system (CMS) which was being used to deliver thousands of end points, but needed an upgrade to future-proof for scale. Thus, CRI was also tasked with the conversion of this rapidly expanding digital network to quickly achieve the scale required to meet corporate sales and growth goals.
The role of signageOS in this case was significant, as its unifying middle layer enabled Creative Realities’ purpose-built CMS platform to perform consistently across all existing hardware devices. This helped accelerate the roll out in a way that was functional and consistent.
As a result of partnering with signageOS, CRI saved a significant time and financial investment in solution architecture. signageOS provided the interface capability to use SoCs and existing media players immediately, alleviating CRI’s need to spend months or potentially years with development and shortening its go-to-market time considerably.

Coates Case Study
A successful partnership with Coates Group to transition a global QSR brand to its proprietary CMS.
The brand selected Coates’ CMS software Switchboard to pioneer the optimal customer purchasing journey, using 5,000 new and existing Samsung displays for drive-thru boards across its locations. To help accomplish that task quickly and easily, Coates selected signageOS as their solution partner for the project.
The cooperation between Coates Group and signageOS drastically reduced the development and testing time required for the transition. The signageOS APIs gave Coates the ability to quickly build custom device management tools for the thousands of Samsung screens during the rollout.
